Look how big dad's punkin leave are getting. He has 5 punkins growing. Still green though, should start turning orange soon (?). He followed the directions to a T - plant 100 days before harvest. Because EVERYONE else has orange punkins, he thinks he planted them too late. Next year he's gonna start sooner. One punkin is the size of a bowling ball, two about the size of a large cantalope, two about the size of a softball. We can almost smell those pies baking . . . yummm . . . . Who wants a piece of punkin pie?
How cool! My Payton loved pumpkin. Hope you both get a few licks and nibbles.

We don't know anything about growing pumpkins just getting them from the farmers market. Our dad tries growing watermelon, tomatoes, and pumpkin but we never seen them actually growing..they sorta die on the vine...mom says thank goodness for the farmers market!
ReplyDeleteWe are still shopping around for that perfect prize for you guys so it may take a little while, hopefully we will find it this weekend.
